Tony Hawk 2 – Gameboy Color Game

The Game Boy Color version of Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 2 presents the skateboarding series from an isometric perspective suited to the handheld. You pick a professional skater and take on timed runs across skate park and street levels, performing ollies, grinds, flip tricks and aerial moves and linking them into combos for larger point totals. Career mode assigns objectives in each stage, such as reaching score goals and collecting scattered S-K-A-T-E letters, with completion opening later levels. Money or points earned across sessions can be put toward improving your skater’s attributes. Trick inputs combine the directional pad with the face buttons, and chiptune music accompanies the runs. High scores are tracked, giving a reason to replay stages for better lines.
