All-Star Baseball 2000 – Gameboy Color Game

All-Star Baseball 2000 is a baseball game for the Game Boy Color. Play is presented from a behind-the-plate perspective when batting and pitching, with fielding handled by taking control of the nearest player once the ball is in the air. You select pitch types and locations, time your swing at the plate, and manage base runners and defensive plays as the innings progress. Games can be played as one-off exhibitions or across a longer stretch of a season, with teams and rosters drawn from Major League Baseball. Menus let you set up matchups and adjust the length and settings of a game before starting. The handheld presentation keeps the field and player sprites simple so the ball is easy to follow on the Game Boy Color screen.
