007 Nightfire – Gamecube Game

NightFire is a first-person shooter for the Nintendo GameCube with an original James Bond story rather than a film adaptation. The campaign moves through varied locations, mixing straightforward firefights with stealth sections and objective-based infiltration. Bond carries gadgets including a grappling hook, a laser watch and a camera used to photograph evidence, and some levels swap the shooting for driving sequences in a gadget-equipped car. Weapons range from silenced pistols to rifles and explosives, with alternate fire options. Between missions the story is carried by cutscenes in the style of the films. Split-screen multiplayer supports several players across a set of arenas, with computer-controlled bots and adjustable rules for offline matches.
