007 Nightfire – PS2 Game

NightFire is a James Bond first-person shooter for the PlayStation 2 built around an original story instead of a film adaptation. The campaign takes you through a series of international locations, alternating gunfights with stealth approaches and objective work such as planting bugs, hacking terminals and photographing documents. Gadgets include a grappling hook, a laser watch and a camera, and several missions put you behind the wheel for driving and vehicle-combat stages. Weapons run from silenced pistols to assault rifles and explosives, with secondary fire modes on many of them. Cutscenes between missions present the plot in the style of the films. A split-screen multiplayer mode is included with multiple arenas, bots and configurable match settings.
