Activision Hits Remixed – PSP Game

Activision Hits Remixed is a compilation for the PlayStation Portable that gathers Activision’s Atari 2600 games for handheld play. The line-up covers a range of early genres, including shooting, driving, sports and action, with each game keeping its original single-screen design and score-driven structure. A soundtrack of licensed 1980s music plays alongside the games, and there are unlockable extras tied to meeting in-game targets. Because the individual titles are short and built for repeat attempts, the collection suits the pick-up-and-play nature of the PSP. Controls are mapped to the handheld’s buttons and analogue nub. It is aimed at players who want a portable set of games from the earliest era of home consoles.
