Air Diver – Sega Genesis Game

Air Diver is a jet combat game for the Sega Genesis played from inside the cockpit. The screen is framed by instrument panels and a heads-up display, with radar and target information showing where enemy aircraft are relative to your own position. You bank, climb and dive to bring opponents into your sights, then engage them with guns and guided missiles across a series of combat sorties. Between missions you handle preparation such as weapon loadouts before launching into the next engagement. The first-person viewpoint means most of the action is read through the HUD and the horizon line rather than watching your own aircraft, giving it a more deliberate feel than side-scrolling shooters on the same system.
