Alisia Dragoon – Sega Genesis Game

Alisia Dragoon is a side-scrolling action platformer for the Sega Genesis. You play as Alisia, a young woman who attacks by firing lightning from her hands. Holding the attack button charges a bolt that automatically homes in on nearby enemies, while your magic meter drains as you fire and recharges when you stop, so combat is about pacing your shots rather than constant firing. Alisia is accompanied by four creature companions that can be summoned one at a time to attack independently; each has its own behaviour and its own energy that depletes with use and can be restored with pickups. Levels move through caverns, ruins, forests and mechanical interiors, with platforming hazards, enemy waves and boss fights at the end of stages. Power-ups found along the way strengthen your lightning attack. Single-player.
