All-Star Baseball 2004 – Xbox Game

The Xbox version of All-Star Baseball 2004 is a licensed Major League Baseball simulation using real teams, rosters and stadiums. Play is presented from behind the pitcher, with hitting based on swing timing and placement and pitching built around selecting a delivery and aiming it inside or outside the strike zone. On defense you take over the nearest fielder to make catches and throws, and baserunning can be handled runner by runner. Single games are joined by season and multi-year team management modes that track player statistics over time, and difficulty and rules options can be adjusted to taste. Broadcast-style presentation with commentary frames the action. Two players can take opposing sides on one console for head-to-head games.
