Amagon – NES

Amagon is a side-scrolling platformer for the NES starring a decorated Marine stranded on a monster-infested South Pacific island. The game centers on Amagon’s machine-gun combat and his ability to transform into the larger, more powerful Megagon.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Run-and-gun platforming sends Amagon across hostile island zones filled with strange creatures and oversized monsters.
• The story begins with a crash landing on the island’s beachhead, with a rescue ship waiting on the far side.
• Megagon transformation adds a power-up style twist to the standard soldier action gameplay.
• Stage progression includes named zones such as Zone 5-2 and large boss encounters with specific weak points.

Amagon was developed by Aicom and distributed in North America under the American Sammy name. Its mix of military action, monster bosses, and transformation mechanics gives it a distinct place in the NES platformer library.
