Antz Extreme Racing – PS2 Game

Antz Extreme Racing is a racing game for the PlayStation 2 using characters from the Antz film. You pick a racer from the film’s cast and compete on courses built around the scale of insects, so ordinary objects and terrain become oversized track features and obstacles. Races follow the arcade kart format rather than simulation, with power-ups and items to pick up and use against rivals, boosts, and shortcuts to find on the circuits. Modes cover single races and championship-style progression against computer opponents, along with split-screen play for a second player. Cartoon presentation carries over from the source material in the character models and course themes. Handling is simple and forgiving, aimed at younger players familiar with the film rather than at racing enthusiasts looking for detailed vehicle control.
