Anubis II – Wii Game

Anubis II is a 3D action platformer for the Nintendo Wii with an ancient Egyptian theme. You control a character moving through linear levels made up of platforms, hazards and enemies, using jumps and simple attacks to reach the end of each stage. Progress involves collecting items, avoiding traps and dealing with the creatures that patrol each area, with boss-style encounters punctuating the journey. Controls use the Wii Remote and Nunchuk for movement and attacks. Visually the game favours plain, blocky environments and straightforward level layouts rather than large open areas, and stage themes lean on tombs, deserts and temple architecture. It is a budget-priced release aimed at players looking for a short, uncomplicated platformer, and it sits alongside several similar low-cost Wii titles from the same period.
