Armed and Dangerous – Xbox Game

A third-person action shooter for the original Xbox with a comedic tone. You lead a small band of misfit soldiers through missions set in a storybook fantasy world, clearing out enemy troops and defending objectives with a mixture of conventional guns and deliberately absurd gadget weapons, including a device that flips the landscape upside down and one that launches sharks out of the ground. Combat is arcade-paced and objective-driven, with waves of enemies, vehicles and turret sections breaking up the on-foot fighting. Between missions, animated cutscenes carry the story forward through the squad’s bickering and slapstick. The humour and weapon design are the main hooks, with straightforward run-and-shoot mechanics underneath rather than cover-based tactics.
