Armorines: Project S.W.A.R.M. is a first-person shooter for the Nintendo 64 based on the Armorines comic property. You take the role of an armored marine sent to fight an infestation of giant insect-like aliens, working through mission objectives in enclosed environments such as caverns, industrial interiors and hive-like tunnels. Enemies typically attack in numbers and from multiple directions, including from above and below, so movement and crowd control matter as much as aim. Your suit carries an arsenal of futuristic weapons, and levels are structured around clearing areas, reaching objectives and surviving waves of hostile creatures. The game supports a two-player split-screen mode alongside the single-player campaign. Presentation leans on dark corridors, alien architecture and heavy sound design typical of late-generation N64 shooters.
