Atari Anniversary Edition Redux – PS1 Game

Atari Anniversary Edition Redux is a compilation of early Atari arcade games for the original PlayStation. It brings together a set of coin-op titles from the vector and single-screen era, presented in their arcade forms and selected from a menu front-end. Play follows the original score-driven design: waves of enemies or obstacles that grow faster and denser until your lives run out, with high score tables to chase. Controls originally built for trackballs, spinners and dials are mapped to the PlayStation pad. Some of the included games support two players. The package is aimed at players who want the original versions of these arcade games rather than remakes, and the short-session structure suits quick play.
