Atlantis The Lost Empire – PS1 Game

Based on Disney’s animated film Atlantis: The Lost Empire, this PlayStation game turns the story’s expedition into level-based action. You guide members of the crew through underground caverns, ruins and machinery on the way to the sunken city, moving between combat, platforming and objective-driven stages. Enemies and hazards are cleared with the weapons and tools your characters carry, and progress is measured stage by stage rather than through an open world. Presentation leans on the look of the film, with art and characters drawn from the movie’s designs and cutscenes used to move the plot along between missions. As a licensed tie-in, it is aimed at players who know the story and want to play through its major set pieces.
