Baby Boomer – NES Game

Baby Boomer is an unlicensed light gun game for the Nintendo Entertainment System, played with the NES Zapper. Instead of shooting at the star of the game, you are protecting one: a crawling baby wanders across each stage on his own, heading toward danger, and you use the Zapper to clear hazards, deal with enemies and trigger objects in the environment that keep him moving safely. Shooting the baby by accident is penalised, so accuracy and restraint both matter. Stages move through a variety of settings, each with its own arrangement of threats and interactive scenery, and the difficulty comes from reacting quickly as the baby continues moving regardless of what you do. It is a single-player game and requires the Zapper peripheral to play.
