Backyard Football – GBA Game

A handheld version of Backyard Football for the Game Boy Advance. You put together a team of neighborhood kids, with professional players appearing in child form, and play games on casual fields instead of stadiums. Play selection is simplified to a short list of options, and the on-field controls handle passing, running and tackling with the GBA’s limited button layout in mind. Games are brief and arcade-flavored, with exaggerated moves and cartoon presentation rather than simulation detail. Sprite-based visuals and an upbeat tone match the rest of the Backyard Sports line. Modes cover quick single games and longer play, making it a straightforward pick-up-and-play football title for younger players.
