Backyard Wrestling – Xbox Game

Backyard Wrestling is a 3D fighting and brawling game for the original Xbox, set around the amateur backyard wrestling scene rather than a licensed pro promotion. Matches take place in ordinary locations such as yards, houses, and industrial spaces, and the environments themselves are part of the fight: you pick up objects, use scenery as weapons, and take the action into whatever space is available instead of sticking to a ring. The roster is built from underground and independent wrestling personalities, and the game leans on a deliberately crude, hardcore tone, with a licensed soundtrack of rock and rap tracks. Combat is closer to an arena brawler than a technical wrestling sim. It carries mature content and is aimed squarely at an adult audience.
