Barbie in The 12 Dancing Princesses – PS2 Game

Barbie in The 12 Dancing Princesses is a licensed tie-in to the animated Barbie film of the same name. You control the princesses as they move through castle interiors and garden settings, taking part in dance sequences and other activities based on scenes from the story. Play is built around simple, short objectives and timed button or rhythm prompts rather than combat, with characters and locations drawn directly from the film. Cutscenes and dialogue carry the plot between segments, and you can switch between different princesses as the game requires. The visual style is colourful and storybook-like, and controls are kept straightforward. It is aimed at younger players and viewers already familiar with the movie.
