Batman

A side-scrolling beat ’em up for the Wii based on the animated series Batman: The Brave and the Bold, complete with its bright, retro-styled character designs and team-up premise. You play as Batman, punching, throwing and using gadgets through stages populated by henchmen, hazards and boss villains. A second player can join locally as one of Batman’s rotating allies from the DC roster, each with their own attacks and abilities, and the two characters can combine efforts on certain moves and obstacles. Levels mix brawling with light platforming and occasional sequences that change the play style. Presentation leans on the show’s voice work and humour, with cartoon-style cutscenes between missions and cooperative play as the main focus.
