Battalion Wars 2 – Wii Game

Battalion Wars 2 continues the series’ blend of real-time strategy and direct third-person action. You issue orders to squads of infantry, tanks, anti-air units and aircraft, and can jump into direct control of any unit at will, swapping between them as the battle demands. The Wii version uses the remote and nunchuk for aiming and commanding. Naval vessels join the roster of unit types, adding coastal and sea engagements to the land and air fighting, and missions ask you to capture positions, destroy targets and protect your own forces. The cartoon-styled armies of the setting’s rival nations return, with cutscenes carrying the campaign story between missions. Alongside the single-player campaign there are multiplayer modes for playing against or alongside others.
