Battlefield 2 Modern Combat – PS2 Game

Battlefield 2: Modern Combat is a first-person shooter for the PlayStation 2, adapting the Battlefield formula to console hardware with a present-day military setting. Matches take place on large maps where infantry combat is mixed with drivable and flyable vehicles including tanks, armoured transports and helicopters, and control of capture points determines how the battle swings. A distinctive feature is the ability to hot-swap: instead of respawning conventionally, you can jump directly into the body of another soldier on your team, moving your presence around the battlefield. There is a single-player campaign built around linked missions, plus multiplayer support for playing against others. Classes give you different weapon loadouts and roles, and objectives centre on holding ground rather than following a linear path.
