Beetle Adventure Racing – Nintendo 64 Game

Beetle Adventure Racing is an arcade-style racing game for the Nintendo 64 built around the Volkswagen New Beetle. Every car is a Beetle, so the emphasis falls on the tracks themselves, which are unusually long and wide with multiple branching routes, hidden shortcuts, jumps, and destructible scenery to discover. Boost pickups scattered along the course reward drivers who explore rather than simply follow the racing line. The championship mode strings races together across a series of environments, and finishing well unlocks additional cars and courses. Handling is forgiving and drift-friendly rather than simulation-focused. Split-screen multiplayer supports racing against friends, and there is also a separate multiplayer mode in which players chase and collect items in an enclosed arena. Single-player time trials round out the modes.
