Beyond Oasis – Sega Genesis Game

An action RPG for the Genesis in which you play Prince Ali, who discovers a gold armlet with the power to command elemental spirits. Exploration and combat take place from a top-down view, with real-time swordplay supported by thrown items such as bombs and daggers, plus environmental objects you can pick up and hurl at enemies. The armlet lets you summon four spirits, each tied to an element and to a source in the environment: water, fire, shadow and plant life. Summoning the right spirit at the right place solves puzzles, reaches blocked areas and adds attacks in fights. Dungeons mix combat, switch puzzles and boss encounters, with health and item upgrades found along the way as you work toward the source of the land’s threat.
