Bill Walsh College Football – Sega Genesis Game

A college football game for the Sega Genesis carrying the name of coach Bill Walsh. You choose from a roster of college programs and play games from a side-scrolling, angled field view, calling plays from a playbook of runs, passes, kicks and defensive formations before each snap. Controls cover passing to receivers, breaking tackles, kicking, and switching defenders, with penalties, downs and clock management in place. Beyond single games, you can take a team through a series of matchups toward a championship, and two players can play against each other or team up against the computer. Options let you adjust quarter length and other settings. Presentation includes on-field sprite players, crowd sound and commentary-style text, keeping the pace closer to arcade football than a slow simulation.
