Black Dawn – Sega Saturn Game

Black Dawn is a mission-based attack helicopter game for the Sega Saturn. You fly a gunship through military objectives that involve destroying ground targets such as bunkers, vehicles, radar sites and artillery, protecting friendly forces, and clearing airspace of enemy aircraft. Your loadout includes a chain gun along with guided missiles and rockets, and ammunition is limited enough that target priority matters. Controls cover full three-dimensional movement, letting you hover, strafe and adjust altitude to line up shots or break away from anti-aircraft fire. Missions take place across varied terrain, from open desert and coastline to built-up bases, with briefings setting objectives before each sortie. The game is played from a cockpit or chase view with a heads-up display tracking targets, weapons and damage.
