Boom Blox – Wii Game

Boom Blox is a physics-based puzzle game for the Nintendo Wii. Each stage presents a structure built from blocks, and you use the Wii Remote’s motion controls to throw balls, pull blocks out, or otherwise topple and dismantle the construction to meet the level’s goal. Block types behave differently: some explode, some are heavy, some hold the structure together, and chain reactions are central to solving many puzzles. Modes include stages about demolition, precision removal, and defending structures from collapse. Multiplayer supports cooperative and competitive play on the same console, and a built-in editor lets you build your own levels and stages to share. Presentation uses simple, brightly coloured animal characters and cartoon blocks, and control is handled almost entirely by pointing and gestures.
