Bug Riders – PS1 Game

Bug Riders is a racing game in which competitors ride giant insects rather than vehicles. You steer your mount through courses set across natural environments, taking corners and using the terrain to keep pace with rival riders. Alongside straightforward racing, the design allows for aggression between competitors, so contact and interference with other riders are part of how positions change during a race. Tracks are viewed from behind your rider in a third-person perspective, with different insect mounts handling in their own ways. If you are curious about the stranger corners of the PlayStation’s racing library, this one sits well outside the usual cars-and-karts template. Further specifics on modes and rosters are best confirmed in the game’s own manual and menus.
