Bust-A-Move 99 – Nintendo 64 Game

A bubble-matching puzzle game for the Nintendo 64. You control a launcher at the bottom of the playfield and fire coloured bubbles up into a hanging cluster, angling shots off the walls to reach awkward spots. Matching three or more of the same colour pops them, and unsupported bubbles beneath drop off the screen, which makes carefully planned shots far more effective than quick ones. The ceiling gradually descends, so rounds get tighter the longer you take. Single-player play works through a series of stages with fixed bubble layouts, while versus modes pit players against each other, with cleared bubbles dumping extra ones onto the opponent’s side. Controls stay minimal, with aiming and one shoot button, so most of the challenge comes from reading the cluster and choosing targets.
