Captain America and the Avengers – Sega Genesis Game

A side-scrolling action game based on Marvel’s Avengers, converted to the Genesis from the arcade original. You choose between Captain America, Iron Man, Vision, and Hawkeye, each with their own attacks, and fight through stages populated by enemy soldiers, robots, and machinery. Alongside standard punches and kicks, you can pick up objects and debris scattered through the levels and throw them at enemies, and each stage ends in a boss encounter against a Marvel villain. Some sections switch from ground combat to flight, with your character moving freely through the air. Two players can take part at the same time, and the game uses the bright comic-book art style and speech balloons of the arcade version.
