Cars Mater-National Championship – PS2 Game

Cars Mater-National Championship continues the console Cars racing formula on PlayStation 2, again casting you as Lightning McQueen in and around Radiator Springs. The town is drivable, and you travel to characters who set races, time trials and mini-games rather than choosing everything from a menu. This entry adds a set of visiting racers who arrive for a championship event, and it introduces event types beyond standard racing, including monster truck style activities alongside returning favourites such as tractor tipping. Drifting and stunt driving fill a boost meter used to gain speed on straights. Tracks cover paved circuits, dirt roads and off-road routes through the surrounding countryside. Completing events unlocks new racers, courses and cosmetic options, and multiplayer modes let a second player join in split screen.
