Casper – PS1 Game

Casper for the original PlayStation is a 3D adventure based on the friendly ghost, set largely inside a sprawling haunted mansion. You guide Casper through the house’s rooms, corridors, and grounds, examining objects, collecting items, and using them to solve puzzles that open up new areas. Casper’s ghostly abilities factor into progress, letting him pass through certain obstacles and change form to reach places a solid character could not. The other ghosts who share the mansion serve as obstacles to avoid or outwit rather than enemies to defeat in combat, so the emphasis falls on exploration and item logic over action. Pre-rendered backdrops, fixed camera angles, and voice work give the game a storybook presentation aimed at younger players and fans of the character.
