Championship Motocross 2001 – PS1 Game

Championship Motocross 2001 is a dirt bike racing game for the original PlayStation and a follow-up in the Championship Motocross line. You compete on enclosed off-road tracks built from jumps, whoops, banked corners and churned dirt, racing wheel to wheel against computer-controlled riders. The riding model asks you to manage the bike in the air as well as on the ground, since a badly timed take-off or landing costs speed and position. Modes include single races and championship play in which results across a series of events decide the standings, and a second player can race in split screen. The view sits behind your rider, with three-dimensional tracks, bikes and trackside scenery in the style of later PlayStation racing games.
