Chaos Field – Gamecube Game

Chaos Field is a vertically scrolling shooter for the Nintendo GameCube in which the action is built entirely around boss encounters rather than waves of small enemies. You pilot a single craft against large opponents that fill the screen with dense bullet patterns, and each fight is a war of attrition against a health bar while you thread gaps in the fire. The central mechanic is the ability to switch between two overlapping fields, Order and Chaos, at will. The same boss behaves differently in each, with tougher attacks but greater scoring potential on one side, so choosing when to shift becomes part of the strategy. Your ship carries a standard shot, a close-range sword attack and a screen-clearing bomb. Multiple selectable pilots, difficulty options and score-focused play round out the package.
