Contra Hard Corps – Sega Genesis Game

Contra: Hard Corps is a run-and-gun action game for the Sega Genesis. You choose from several playable characters, each with a distinct set of four weapons, and fight through side-scrolling stages against soldiers, machines and mutating creatures. Characters die in a single hit, and you can carry your weapon set throughout, switching between them on the fly rather than losing everything on death. The game features branching paths: at certain points you are given a choice that sends you down a different route, leading to different stages, bosses and endings. Boss encounters are frequent and often multi-phase, with enemies transforming between forms. Two players can play simultaneously. Some sequences change the presentation, including vehicle rides and levels that scroll in unusual directions.
