Crimson Gem Saga – PSP Game

Crimson Gem Saga is a turn-based role-playing game for the PlayStation Portable, presented with anime-style character art and hand-drawn backdrops. You play as a young graduate of a knight academy who sets out on a quest and gradually gathers a party of companions, each with their own skills and personality. Enemies appear on the field rather than in random encounters, and battles play out in a side-on view where you queue attacks, magic and special abilities, chaining actions together for extended combos and bonus damage. Away from combat you explore towns, talk to NPCs, take on optional objectives, and manage equipment and consumable items. The story is delivered largely through dialogue scenes with portrait art and a light, comedic tone alongside its fantasy plot. Progression follows traditional JRPG lines: level up, gear up, and push into tougher dungeons.
