Croc 2 – PS1 Game

Croc 2 is a 3D platformer for the PlayStation and a sequel to the first Croc game, once again featuring the crocodile hero and the small creatures known as Gobbos. This time Croc searches for word of his parents while helping Gobbo villages, with stages accessed from hub areas rather than a straight level list. You run, jump, tail-swipe and stomp through themed environments, collecting crystals for health and hunting hidden Gobbos in each stage. Alongside the standard platforming levels there are objective-based tasks and minigame-style challenges set by the villagers, including timed and vehicle-flavoured sections that break up the jumping. Boss encounters close out the game’s worlds. Visuals keep the bright, cartoon-styled look of the series, and the controls again use a turning-based scheme for moving Croc around the 3D environments.
