Dakar 2 Rally – Gamecube Game

Dakar 2 is an off-road racing game for the Nintendo GameCube based on the Dakar Rally, the long-distance rally raid event run across desert and open terrain. Rather than circuit racing, events are point-to-point stages over sand, dirt, rock and water crossings, where reading the route and keeping the vehicle intact matter as much as outright speed. You can compete in different classes of machine used in the real event, including cars, trucks and motorcycles, each handling very differently over rough ground. Stages are long and open, with navigation aids and checkpoints marking the way forward, and damage to your vehicle affects how it drives. A career structure lets you work through a series of stages, and the game also supports single events for shorter sessions.
