Dance Dance Revolution – Wii Game

This is an entry in Konami’s Dance Dance Revolution series for the Nintendo Wii. Arrows scroll toward a target line in time with the music and you step on the matching direction, with each step judged on timing; hitting steps cleanly maintains your life gauge and combo, while repeated misses end the song. Songs are selectable at multiple difficulty levels, so the same track can range from simple four-arrow patterns to dense sequences with jumps and rapid steps. The Wii version is played on a dance mat and can also make use of the Wii Remote and Nunchuk for hand motions layered on top of the footwork. Modes include single-song play, longer sets, workout-style tracking of activity, and multiplayer for two players stepping side by side.
