Dark Cloud – PS2 Game

Dark Cloud is an action role-playing game for the PlayStation 2. You play as Toan, a boy given a magical stone after a dark force scatters the towns and people of the world into containers. Play alternates between two halves: real-time dungeon crawling through randomly arranged floors, fighting monsters with melee weapons and searching for keys and treasure, and the Georama mode, where you take the recovered pieces of houses, residents and scenery and rebuild settlements on the surface, placing buildings and terrain as you see fit. Residents give requests about where they want to live, and satisfying them yields rewards. Weapons have their own durability and can be upgraded with attached items rather than replaced. Additional characters join your party, each with a different attack style suited to particular obstacles.
