Dashin’ Desperadoes – Sega Genesis Game

Dashin’ Desperadoes is a competitive racing platformer for the Sega Genesis with a cartoon Wild West theme. Two rival cowboys chase after the same girl, and each stage is a footrace across side-scrolling terrain filled with jumps, springs, hazards and shortcuts. The screen splits horizontally so both racers are visible at once, and the display shifts as one runner pulls ahead of the other. Along the way you grab items and weapons that can be used to trip up your opponent, from thrown objects to traps that leave them stunned long enough for you to gain ground. Levels introduce new obstacles and layouts as you advance, and each race ends when one runner reaches the goal. The game supports two players head to head, or a single player racing against a computer-controlled rival.
