Dave Mirra Freestyle BMX on PlayStation puts you on a BMX bike in open trick environments built around ramps, rails, ledges and gaps. You choose from a roster of licensed BMX riders, each with their own bike and stats, then work through levels that ask you to hit score targets and complete listed objectives to unlock further areas. Tricks are performed with direction and button combinations in the air and on grinds, with manuals used to link separate tricks into longer chains for higher scores. Modes include timed session runs, competition-style scoring and free riding for practice, plus multiplayer score challenges. Learning each course’s layout and the lines between its ramps is central to building large combos and clearing its goals.
