Def Jam Rapstar – Wii Game

Def Jam Rapstar is a rhythm and singing game for the Nintendo Wii focused on rap performance. Lyrics scroll on screen with timing cues, and you perform them into a microphone while the game scores you on rhythm, timing and pitch. The track list is drawn from hip-hop, spanning older and more recent songs, and each track plays alongside its music video or themed visuals. Modes cover solo play, party play with friends taking turns or performing together, and freestyle options where you rap over a beat without a scripted lyric track. The game includes a feature for recording your performance, including video capture, and sharing it. A USB microphone is required to sing, and compatible mics from other music games generally work.
