Déjà Vu is an NES action-adventure game with a noir mystery setup from Seika Corporation. The story begins with an amnesiac protagonist waking in a Chicago casino beside a familiar dead body, with the police closing in on a murder charge.
- Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
- Point-and-click style investigation focuses on searching rooms, examining objects, and piecing together clues.
- The casino setting is presented as a setup, with missing witnesses, dangerous encounters, and evidence to uncover before escape.
- Inventory-style commands include actions such as taking, opening, moving, examining, and using items.
- A gun, suspicious characters, and a dead man who seems familiar drive the game’s hardboiled detective tone.
- The game blends adventure-game puzzle solving with a crime-thriller premise rather than arcade-style action.
The full title is Déjà Vu: A Nightmare Comes True, connecting the NES release to ICOM Simulations’ mystery-adventure format.
