Desert Strike Advance – GBA Game

Desert Strike Advance brings the helicopter action of Desert Strike to the Game Boy Advance. You fly an attack helicopter over an isometric desert battlefield, taking on a series of missions that involve destroying installations, knocking out enemy armour and air defences, and picking up stranded allies to carry back to base. Ammunition, armour and fuel are all finite, so a large part of the game is deciding when to break off an assault to collect fuel drums and reload, and where to spend your limited supply of Hellfire missiles rather than the machine gun. Missions are given as a list of objectives within an open campaign area, letting you choose the order of attack. Taking too much fire or running dry ends the run.
