Despicable Me – Wii Game

Despicable Me is a licensed action-platformer for the Wii based on the animated film about the villain Gru and his Minions. You move through themed levels built around jumping, climbing and combat, using gadgets and Minion assistance to deal with obstacles and enemies. Stages are broken up by simple puzzle sections and minigame-style challenges, and the Wii Remote is used for motion-based actions during some sequences. Collectibles scattered through the environments encourage exploring side paths, and cutscenes and voice work tie the levels to characters and settings from the film. The presentation and difficulty are pitched at younger players, with straightforward controls, frequent checkpoints and clear objectives, making it playable without much platforming experience.
