Destiny of an Emperor is a Capcom RPG for the Nintendo Entertainment System set during China’s Later Han era. The game centers on raising a fighting force against the Yellow Scarves, a bandit horde threatening the country.

• Cleaned, tested, and guaranteed to play. Authentic cartridge.
• Role-playing gameplay emphasizes strategy, party management, and command-based exploration.
• Battle commands include options such as Battle, All-Out, Tactic, Retreat, Defend, Report, and Item.
• Field commands include Talk, Check, Formation, General, and Item for interacting with towns, armies, and party setup.
• The story involves multiple leaders gaining power by recruiting warlords, with only one path leading to the Emperor’s seat.

Destiny of an Emperor is tied to Capcom’s Tenchi o Kurau property, giving the NES release a historical-war RPG angle distinct from many fantasy-focused role-playing games of the era.
