Destruction Derby – PS1 Game

Destruction Derby is a racing game built around vehicle damage and collisions. You drive stock cars on oval and road-style circuits where deliberately wrecking rivals earns points, and in some modes scoring damage matters as much as finishing position. Cars deform and lose performance as panels crumple, wheels are knocked out of alignment and engines take hits, and enough punishment ends your race. Alongside standard races there is a bowl arena where the only goal is to destroy the other cars in a confined space, with the last runner standing taking the win. Modes include single races and a championship season, plus two-player competition. The handling is heavy and loose, encouraging shunting opponents into walls and trading paint rather than clean overtaking.
