Diablo – PS1 Game

Diablo on PlayStation is a console conversion of Blizzard’s action role-playing game. You choose between the Warrior, the Rogue and the Sorcerer, each with different strengths in melee combat, ranged attacks and magic, then descend through the dungeon beneath the town of Tristram. Levels are generated so that layouts, monsters and treasure differ between playthroughs. Combat is real time and driven by clicking or targeting enemies, while gold and dropped equipment are spent and traded with the townsfolk above ground. Character growth comes from experience levels, attribute points and spell books that teach new magic. The PlayStation version supports two players working through the dungeon together on one console, and uses a control scheme adapted from the original mouse-driven interface.
