Digimon World – PS1 Game

Digimon World blends creature raising with real-time exploration on the PlayStation. You arrive on File Island, where the local Digimon have scattered and File City has fallen into decline. Your job is to raise a single partner Digimon and travel the island convincing wild Digimon to return and rebuild the town. Raising is a hands-on daily routine: feeding, sleep, training at gyms to build stats, praise and scolding, and cleaning up after your partner. How you handle that routine steers which creature it digivolves into. Battles play out in real time, with your Digimon acting semi-independently while you spend energy to trigger special attacks. Partners have a limited lifespan, so each one eventually passes on and you begin again with a new egg, keeping the progress you made in the city.
